FAQ at The Bake Box:
When do you send your orders out?
A: Once you place your order, it is freshly baked 1-2 days after, once it is dispatched it will be with you in 1-2 days (normally 1!) Please allow 5-7 days for your order to reach you. If you haven't received your order 3 days after dispatch, please email us or contact Royal Mail directly.
How long do your treats last?
A: Our brownies, cookies and other sweet treats all last for up to 7 days. Best warmed up in the microwave!
How do I store your bakes once I have received them?
A: The best way to store our treats is in an airtight container, or clingfilmed, at room temperature. You can store our treats in the fridge, our brownies will go super fudgy if stored this way! If you store our cookies in the fridge, make sure they are covered up, and they might just need a microwave or to be left out before you eat them. Store all bakes in the fridge in very hot weather.
How long do your cakes and cupcakes last and how do I store them?
A: We bake our cupcakes they day before collection, once you collect them, they are best eaten within 2 days. Cakes will last 3-4 days. Cupcakes are best stored in the box they came in at room temperature. We don't recommend keeping cupcakes in the fridge otherwise they will dry out. Cakes are fine either in the fridge or at room temperature but they must be covered up once cut to stop the inside from drying out.
Do you cater towards allergens?
A: In The Bake Box kitchen, we may handle all 14 of the major allergens. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our bakes will be allergen free, if you have an allergy please ensure you either contact me first or do not place an order. Our bakes may contain Milk, Soya, Eggs, Wheat, Barley, Hazelnuts, Sulphites etc. You can find a simple ingredients list on the description, you can request a full ingredients list from me by emailing or making an enquiry on the Contact Us page.
